This was my very first project, and honestly, still the cutest. I made the custom typography myself. The membrane became the main visual anchor of the design, and designing the chemokine ligands was easily my favorite part. Once I reframed the narrative from “communication” to “gossip,” everything else clicked into place and the rest of the poster developed naturally. I also asked Reggie what his favorite color was, and he said dark red / burgundy, so I chose a warmer color palette to reflect that and make it feel more personal.
