First, I thought it would be funny to show the VU’s griffin taking on a snake, which is a nod to what Jeroen Kool is known for: snake venom research. Second, I noticed the arrows already had a snake-like silhouette when viewed from above, so I leaned into that and literally twisted them into a snake. That detail is what I’m most proud of in the whole project 😀
